Gorilla Glass 2 to be in devices starting April or May

Back at CES, we finally got a look at Corning's Gorilla Glass 2, which is promised to have the same strength, scratch resistance, and impact resistance, but at 20% thinner than the original Gorilla Glass. This means that devices would have the same protection from screen damage, but will be able to be thinner overall or will have extra space for bigger batteries (which is probably a better option in our opinion.)
Today, Corning announced that it expects Gorilla Glass 2 to start making it into devices by April or May of this year, so we should be able to see soon enough whether manufacturers want to keep making devices thinner (which seems a bit unnecessary at some point) or uses the extra space for useful stuff like bigger batteries (can you tell that's what we really want to see?).
