Transformer Pads will be the new name of Asus tablets, premium Infinity Pad starts a series
Asus will be referring to all its tablets from now on as Transformer Pads, hinting that the iconic keyboard dock will be ubiquitous across its Android slate lineup. It announced the first one of the affordable Transformer Pad 300 Series, and then came the turn of the Transofrmer Pad Infinity Series, which will be the premium line.

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 with two 1.5GHz Krait cores, the new Infinity Pad will have 1920x1200 pixels 10" Full HD Super IPS+ display, meaning that we will be graced with those sweet 600nits of brightness for better outdoor visibility.

The Infinity Pad will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB flavors, unlike the TF700T that was only announced with 32GB and 64GB flavors. The catch here is that the 16 gigger is a Wi-Fi-only version and, get this... will be shipping with Tegra 3, whereas the 3G/4G variants are the ones with the Qualcomm MSM 8960 Snapdragon, where you'll have the LTE option as well.

This new Full HD screen tablet from Asus also sports a new 8MP rear camera with 5-element lens and 2MP front-facer for video chat. Media connection is handled by an HDMI port, and the tablet sports the Asus SonicMaster audio technology, which is supposed to make the sound output crystal clear.
