Nokia 808 PureView gets an early preview, more sample shots surface

Nokia 808 PureView gets an early preview, more sample shots surface
Although the Nokia 808 PureView is scheduled to launch in May, someone in China was lucky enough to get their hands on one for an early preview. And you know which feature they were most excited to try out, right? That massive 41-megapixel camera, of course!
We have already discussed in detail what makes the camera on the Nokia 808 PureView so special, but it is the real-life performance that truly matters. And those photo samples look pretty impressive even though the unit they were taken with was most likely not finalized. What's more is that whoever did this short Nokia 808 PureView preview concluded that its camera is "absolutely worthy of recognition."

The rest of the preview is pretty much stuff that we already know, such as hardware and software specs, as well as a handful of design shots. In case you need a reminder, the Nokia 808 PureView sports a 1.3GHz single-core processor and a 4-inch display with a relatively low resolution of 360 by 640 pixels. You can read a machine translated version of the said preview by following the source link.

But enough talking. Now check out these sample shots and tell us what you think in the comments below. Also, even more Nokia 808 PureView sample photos can be found here. (Note: The button in the upper right-hand corner expands the photo to its full resolution.)
