Nokia Asha 202 launched in India for Rs 4,149

Just like we reported yesterday, Nokia has launched the Asha 202 in India for Rs 4,149. The touch-and-type S40 Dual-SIM phone features a 2.4-inch resistive display, 2.0 MP camera, FM radio and a microSD card slot with support for up to 32GB cards. For the first 60 days, buyers can get 40 EA games free for the phone, valued at Rs 4,000.

Nokia has also tied up with five carriers – Aircel, Airtel, Reliance, Tata Docomo and Vodafone – that will offer 100MB of data every month for the first six months. Though a late entrant in the Dual-SIM market in India, Nokia managed to capture almost 19 percent of the market last year according to Cybermedia Research largely due to the success of its Asha series of feature phones, which were made specifically for India and other emerging countries.
