Motorola Defy XT launched in India for Rs 15,990

Motorola has launched the Defy XT in India, the third in its Defy series of dust and water resistant Android smartphones to be launched here after the Defy and the Defy Plus. Online retailer Flipkart is retailing it for Rs 15,990.

The Defy XT features a 3.7-inch 480×854 pixel display with Gorilla Glass on top, a 5-megapixel rear camera that can shoot videos at 30fps in 720p resolution and a VGA front camera. Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, it has a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and 1GB ROM.
Other features include DLNA support, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and FM radio. Motorola claims its 1650 mAh battery is good enough for 9.5 hours of continuous calling. Of course, there are many Android smartphones available at this price range but we are definitely sure there is none as rugged as the Defy XT.
