Mophie Duo and Mini powerstations aim to keep your devices juiced while on the go

As we’re all too familiar with nowadays, battery life continues to be a constant issue amongst our modern devices – simply, it doesn’t seem adequate enough to keep up with the evolving hardware. Of course, we’ve seen it resolved in the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX, but then again, they merely stuffed a beefy 3,300 mAh battery inside of it.

However, as an alternative solution, accessory makers have been touting all-in-one battery solutions in the form of universal battery chargers. Already, we had the opportunity of checking out the Mophie Juice Pack Powerstation PRO, which is a ruggedized battery pack, but for those who don’t require the tough exterior, there are two alternative solutions that are coming in really soon.

Mophie unveiled recently that two new solutions are on the horizon – the Mophie Duo and Mini powerstations. With the former, it boasts the higher capacity 6,000 mAh battery, but beyond that, it features two USB ports that allow for simultaneous charging between two devices. Not to be outdone by its bigger brother, the 2,500 mAh Mophie Mini has the advantage of packing a 10.1 amp high-output battery for a significantly faster charging time.

As of right now, the two are slated for release on August 13th with the Duo and Mini priced respectively at $141 (£89.95) and $78 (£89.95).
