OnePlus is leaving no stones unturned to build the hype around its upcoming flagship OnePlus 2. After unveiling the smartphone’s spec details bit by bit, the company has now launched ‘Operation Comrade’ in India. It is inviting individuals from startups and established organizations to join them on the hype train, in the run up to launch the OnePlus 2.

The company hasn’t revealed much, except for the fact that people who are willing to join may be selected for a ‘secret project that will make them the envy of their peers’.

“We are looking at people we can call our own and are willing to be part of the #HYPE train for the foreseeable future. Curious yet? Good. If you work in a startup or an established organisation in India (across sectors) in an influential capacity to drive people towards our brand, we would love to hear from you,”

The OnePlus 2 is set for a July 27 launch. We already know that the smartphone will have an improved version of the Snapdragon 810 processor, USB Type C port,a physical home button with a fingerprint sensor,  a 3,300mAh battery, faster LTE and that the smartphone will cost between $320-$450.

Rumors suggest that the OnePlus 2 may sport a slimmer full metal body. It is likely to feature a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Leaked sketches hint at a possible dual-camera setup at the back, and a Bluetooth certification filing claims that the OnePlus 2 could be available in three variants.
