Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus renders leaked

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 leaks are coming in thick and fast. After reports that Samsung might launch the phablet as early as August 12, the latest leak confirms the design aspects of the forthcoming phablet.

GSMArena has sourced renders of the Galaxy Note 5 as well as the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus by a case maker. These renders show the smartphones from all angles, as well as give us a clear look at their size and different buttons and ports.

The Galaxy Note 5 will feature a flat design, and there won’t be any curves as was claimed by some reports. It will feature dimensions of 153.3×76.1×7.9mm, which hints at a display size of 5.7-inch. In comparison, the Galaxy Note 4 featured dimensions of 153.5×78.6×8.5mm.
The buttons and ports are quite standard, with the S Pen slot situated at the right-hand bottom corner. The phablet doesn’t seem to include a USB Type-C port, and instead is set to include the standard microUSB port.

The interesting bit is the renders for the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. While it just looks like an oversized Galaxy S6 Edge, the one aspect missing the S Pen. This is in line with some recent leaks that claimed the same. As per the renders, it will feature dimensions of   154.4×75.8×6.9mm, which excludes the protruding back camera. In comparison, the Galaxy S6 Edge features dimensions of 142.1×70.1x7mm.

From what we have heard so far, the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to flaunt a QHD Super AMOLED display, Exynos or Snapdragon processor depending upon the market, 4GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, and a 3,220mAh battery.
